This is a1997 Hallmark Keepsake ornament, DONALD'S SURPRISING GIFT, and the 1st in the HALLMARK ARCHIVES SERIES. Modeled after a 50 yr. old Hallmark Greeting card, it features Donald Duck attempting to wrap a Christmas present. In 1932 the friendship between Walt Disney and JC Hall resulted in the first Hallmark products with Disney's characters. Donald is portrayed here in the 1930's version with pie shaped eyes. Included in this box is a collector's card, a reproduction of the original greeting card. The ornament is 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. Very cute ornament and perfect for the Disney collector. The ornament and box are mint with original packaging and price tag intact. From my mom's massive holiday collection, most of which she did not display.
