The zippo is a salesman sample and was never put into production. The date stamp on the bottom is filled with paint - the insert is a 1997 The 'Bernard of Hollywood TM' signature appears on the zippo.Bruno Bernard, known professionally as 'Bernard of Hollywood' was perhaps THE glamour photographer of Hollywood's Golden Era.He was called, among other things, the King of Glamour Photography, The Vargas of Photography and of course, the Discoverer of Marilyn Monroe.
