You are looking at a 1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar. Are you into the classic look of a Gloss Black Strat? Who isn't? This one may ring your bell! The body is solid alder, not plywood like on most overseas imports. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. Two Fender Noiseless single coils dish out classic tone with a Humbucker in the bridge. A vintage style trem couples with sealed American Standard style tuners for rock solid stability. It has that timeless vibe. Really a great guitar for the money! I really like the way most Standard series Fender's feel. Many have tone and feel that rival American series instruments. This guitar has a nice straight neck with good frets. The Fender pickups sound great and the electronics work fine. Why buy a no name import when you can have the real thing? Fender Standard series is top notch for the bucks in my book and I'm always happy to get in used examples like this one. You could spend a lot more and get a lot less guitar. Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival! Nut Width: 1.65" Weight: 7.05 lbs. Case and Trem Bar NOT Included! Keep in mind that this is a 28 year old Strat that has been played. There are some light strumming scratches on the pickguard as well as the Top. The Back has some marks from being held next to the player's body. All chrome hardware is pitted. Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock in great shape. Fingerboard has plenty of life left.
