Description: GM’s Buick Motor Division sent this press kit to journalists to announce the 90th anniversary of the company in 1993. The slick-cardboard front and back covers of the pocket-folder feature illustrations of more than 20 vehicles, people and factories dating to Buick’s 1903 incorporation. The kit includes several press releases recounting the company’s history, the development of the revolutionary valve-in-head engine and the effort to locate the oldest Buicks still existing. The packet includes six 8X10 black-and white photos and three 35mm color slides. Among the photos are the 1954 Wildcat II and the 1938 Buick Y Job concept cars. There is some minor soiling on the upper edge of the inside right cover, and rust on the page staples, but otherwise the kit is in very good to excellent condition.
