Between 1987 and 1996 it created some of the best cloisonne pins (also know as hard enamel pins) ever manufactured and have became very highly sought after. The company created mainly Marvel pins between 1988 and 1996. The Nick Fury SHIELD Crest Cloisonne Pin is © 1991 Marvel, was manufactured by Planet Studios and is #178 in the series. It has been brought to my attention by numerous advanced Planet Studios pin collectors they want to know the color of the back of this pin as there were various metals used at different manufacturing times (printings): SILVER (zinc), GOLD (copper), BLACK (nickel) or REDDISH (copper) which I assume determines the printing / print run.
