Description: One side of this 1991 Manhattan Map Company/Rand McNally New York City Souvenir map features complete detail building by building of Midtown Manhattan, drawn by the Manhattan Map Company in in isometric projection (also called axonometric projection) down to street level. Stunning 3D projection of some of New York City's most iconic landmarks including Madison Square Garden, Central Park, Fifth Avenue and more. This large map, when unfolded measures 24 3/8 x 37 1/4 inches. The reverse side of the map is a more traditional Rand McNally street map of Manhattan and also includes a NYC Subway map. Keep it as a two-sided map with a double glass frame or just frame and display the isometric side. As noted in the condition description, please be aware of the following related to its condition: This map is missing the original folder it would have come in when sold however is intact but does have some flaws, including two tears/holes at fold intersections in the upper right area of the map (see photos of both sides), a few minor edge tears near folds and one more substantial tear. These all appear to be repairable. There is some minor staining and some light soiling due to use as well (most noted in photos). Even with the condition issues it's sheer size and the axonometric/isometric projection of Midtown Manhattan is stunning in color. This is being sold-as is with photos and description of the noted issues. Will ship folded in a board/bag combination.
