(L-R) Kay Raftery, Mildred Thompson, Carolyn Evans, Intha Dudley and Chester Clark, fill grocery bags with some 25 items of food at the Vincentian Centre in Covington Wednesday morning. Volunteers have been working two 3 hour shifts each day filling about 500 baskets with 25 items of food. Each basket will contain a $7.50 gift certificate for meat or fowl to be redeemed at a local food store. The baskets will be distributed November 21. The Vincentian Centre will also give out that day certificates to children to be redeemed for toys at Christmas time. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 11-15-1989.
