It's a smaller-scaled Detroit version of "Name of the Rose" plus "Police Story" plus "The Front Page," with three interwoven chase stories that begin when priests and nuns all over town start dropping like flies - drowned in bathtubs, shot in kitchens, offed in rectories. During confession, the Catholic killer lets slip an essential clue to his identity.
