Before Independent let loose the gimmick floodgates with a funhouse palette of anodized truck colors for Stage 5, they experimented with flat-black glazed anode oxide coating on limited runs of Stage 4's. The consistency of colorization & durability of those rare, early examples brings into high relief the bad job they did on Stage 5. You look at some of those Stage 5 jobs funny, and you have a clump of day-glow green oxide in your hand. These Stage 4 warriors have taken pretty significant abuse and yet the base oxide is still pretty damn nice. Not collection nice. These bad boys are destined to return to the streets - and have been outfitted with brand new 94a Hard bushings to reclaim the throne. Old-school 2.5 inch bolt hole width - and will not fit most 'new school' deck bolt patterns (2.125"). Original hardware & kingpins, and 8 speed ring washers.
