Click image to enlarge Description This is the official 1980 football program between the Michigan State Spartans and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The game was played November 1, 1980 at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. The #9 ranked Buckeyes beat the Spartans 48-16. The 1980 Michigan State Spartans included John Leister, Steve Smith, Ted Jones, Morten Andersen, Ray Stachowicz, Chris Van Pelt, George Cooper, Rod Strata and Bernard Hay. The Spartans were coached by Muddy Waters and finished the season 3-8, 9th in the Big 10. The 1980 Ohio State Buckeyes included Calvin Murray, Art Schlichter, Doug Donley, Marcus Marek, Ray Ellis, Keith Ferguson, Todd Bell, Jerome Foster and Vince Skillings. The Buckeyes were coached by Earl Bruce and Nick Saban was an assistant coach. The Buckeyes went 9-3, tied for 2nd in the Big Ten, and ranked 15th nationally. The condition of this guide is VG-EX. The front cover has excellent color and gloss. There is a light corner crease in the lower right corner. The back cover has nice color and gloss as well. The spine is strong, with some fuzziness at the bottom tip. The insides are clean. The program is complete and intact. Please check the scans.
