Patterson and his wife, Terry, had planned to spend the holiday in Boonville, Missouri at the historical home they bought last summer. But when Russell checked in with his doctor after feeling ill last week, he was prescribed a Christmas in town to recoup from walking pneumonia. With some good advice and a little medicine, Patterson is enjoying good health and a traditional Christmas dinner at the couple's Sophian Plaza home today.
