Description: This is a scarce basketball program (see picture) from the 1979 NCAA MIDEAST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, played in Indianapolis on March 16 and 18, 1979. The four teams in this Mideast Regional were MICHIGAN STATE, NOTRE DAME, LSU, and TOLEDO. Players included in the rosters and the team pictures were MAGIC JOHNSON, GREG KELSER, BILL LAIMBEER, KELLY TRIPUCKA, and ORLANDO WOOLRIDGE. The 32-page program is clean and intact, exhibiting some wear and creasing from handling and storage over the past 44 years. It is not scored; however, the brackets on Page 9 have been filled in with black ink and the program has a vertical crease (perhaps from being folded at one time). It would make a great addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Michigan State, Notre Dame, LSU, or Toledo basketball fan, NCAA historian, or vintage program collector in your life!
