Description: 1979 FORD CUSTOM CAB F 8000 FIRETRUCK I bought this used a few years back, had a bunch of ideas for it and never did any of them so time to let it go. Bought from Kingsville Fire Department as they were retiring the truck, was fully functional, everything is still as I bought it but has not been used for years. I have started and driven the truck every year except this one, needs batteries now, and fuel injection pump, starts on ether. Truck has a cat 3208 DIesel engine, Allison auto trans. The truck is being sold as is. Additional options; 1. Can repair the truck, new batteries and injection pump, running, driving truck, cost for truck 5,000.00 2. Remove box and all fire apparatus, basically a running cab and chassis setup for your flatbed, dump bed, whatever you would like to put on it. Cost for this option 6,000.00 3. Take truck as is without fire apparatus and box on back, cab and chassis option, 4,000.00 4. Truck as is, not running, without emergency lights/firetruck lights, 2,000.00 5. Part truck out, let me know what you would like from the truck, including engine and transmission, lights, box, whatever you would like, engine and transmission have low hours, truck ran great, not sure what happened to the pump, could be just the drive gear.
