Description: This is a fun decorative plate dated 1978 and entitled "Santa's Helpers". This plate was designed and modelled by Barbara Linley Adams and is her First Christmas Plate. It was produced by Poole Pottery of England and is numbered 8581. Her initials appear both on the front and the back of the plate. The plate itself is approximately 8 inches in diameter and a slate/gray/brown color. It features two kittens playing with the Christmas tree ornaments below the branches of the tree. Plate is in great pre-owned condition. There is one small area on the bottom ring that appears to have been nicked. It is possibly from production. Please see last photo. I used a penny for scale.
