Description: ONLY 1 GRADED HIGHER REGGIE JACKSON AUTOGRAPHED EXTREMELY RARE POP 4 The Yankees' home opener of the 1978 season, on April 13 against the Chicago White Sox, featured a new product, the "Reggie!" bar. In 1976, while playing in Baltimore, Jackson had said, "If I played in New York, they'd name a candy bar after me." The Standard Brands company responded with a circular "bar" of peanuts dipped in caramel and covered in chocolate, a confection which was originally named the "Wayne Bun" as it was made in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The "Reggie!" bars were handed to fans as they walked into Yankee Stadium. Jackson hit a home run, and when he returned to right field the next inning, fans began throwing the Reggie bars on the field in celebration. The bar did not live for very long how, ever, and its career ended in 1981. This vintage 1978 ticket stub is a one-of-a-kind collectible for baseball fans. It is signed by the legendary Reggie Jackson and is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a grade of 1.5 FAIR and a GEM-MINT AUTOGRAPH rating of 10. The ticket is from the April 13, 1978 Opening Day NYY "Reggie Bar Game" Promotion, making it a special piece of memorabilia. This original and authentic ticket is a must-have for fans of the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees. It is a rare find for collectors and sports enthusiasts alike. With its vintage appeal and connection to a historic game, this signed ticket is a true treasure.
