Description: For Sale is a beautiful 1976 Les Paul Deluxe. My father purchased this guitar from either Manny's or Sam Ashe in NYC(i went with him). The guitar for the most part stayed in the case and is in what I would call excellent condition for its age. There are a few little scratches and nicks here and there, but looks great. The guitar is all original other than the plastic input chord surround was replaced with a metal piece. The original cream colored piece is included as photographed. The guitar weigh in at 10lb 7.6oz.The guitar has a "2" on the headstock above the 967511 serial #. The "2' indicates it had a blemish in 1976, not sure it matter after 50 years. Interesting is that the serial # 967511 indicates a guitar made in Kalamazoo from 1970-72, however wine red was not available until 75/76 when my dad purchased it. Great 1 owner vintage Gibson Les Paul with a little extra historical interest. Comes with OHSC also in very good condition as show.
