Description: Here’s our akai gxc-570d tape deck. It’s been hooked up to our basement system playin Grateful Dead bootlegs! It’s sounding pretty good! Rewind/play/ff work fine. Counter moves as should. Knobs seem to do what they’re Sposta do. VU meters move as they should. **I haven’t tried recording** No top dust cover, otherwise looks complete. A couple little blemishes in the wood veneer. Meter lights are out. Please inspect pics for condition. This is hooked up and playing as I write this. It sounds great, as good as my old tapes! I love the unit. The buttons are “sensi-touch”which is cool for 1976. It has been playing great and not eaten any tapes. (I don’t rewind or fast forward much at all as my tapes are from thr 80’s/90’s) The difficulty is mainly it doesn’t stack easily. I have a couple normal style tape decks that aren’t as cool but they don’t take up as much wall space, that’s why it’s in the basement!! Therefore I’m asking kinda high, as I’m torn whether or not to make a better effort at a shelf or rack unit… **This has been used for playback only.** (Amazingly I have no blank tapes) This is sold for playback only until I can test the recording capabilities. Sold as is shown. Pics have a tape playing!! Kinda big and will be packed safe!! Shipping $75 Offers considered…
