Description: In 1974 the Cook Islands, a Pacific Paradise, issued these 13 STAMPS of various denominations up to $2.00. FYI the Cook Islands are a New Zealand protectorate and the the currency is New Zealand Dollars, They are displayed here on a heavy 13 X 10 Cardboard and have been inside a frame. The frame was damaged and the board saved. As you will see in the photos it is a little warped at the top but I have now placed in between heavy books and it will come back flat after this and for sure when it is framed once again. A great gift for the Diver in your family or for any child who has an interest in Fish and the Ocean. Each stamp sits free in a pocket for display and each is MINT with its original Gum. There is also an information section.... see photos. The display page is a limited edition of the Postal Commemorative Society and was issued only to Members in 1974.
