Description: This is an original 1974 DC Treasury Collectors Edition of Shazam The Original Captain Marvel No C-27.This treasury edition includes Captain Marvel stories and art originally published in the 1950s, copyright 1951.The treasury edition measures 10" x 13 1/2".This comic has been stored for at least the last 25 to 30 years or more in an acid-free bag. The book was removed for the photos to prevent reflections and to re-assess the condition. It was then replaced in the bag as seen, and the bag will be included with the listing. At the time of this listing this is one of five of these vintage large editions being listed individually including five Marvel Treasury Editions, and on DC Special Collector's Edition. Condition The ungraded comic is overall in good to very good condition with clean flat pages, tight binding, and light toning on the pages. The color on the covers is strong.The following issues to note: Overall of handling and rubbing, and normal reading somewhat heavier line of rubbing adjacent to the spine on each cover some crease marks at a number of places along the top edge on the front and back covers as seen. There is a slightly heavier circular pressure mark on the front cover in the area of "WORD..." and the lightning bolt exclamation mark. It appears this is from specific pressure applied there by a circular object. This can be seen but is mainly noticeable on close inspection. stress marks along the spine on each side as seen Review the photos and make your own assessment of the condition as well.
