RARE HARDCOVER - ONE OF THE RAREST DEAN KOONTZ FICTIONAL HARDCOVER BOOKS - THERE WAS ONLY A SECOND PRINTING WITH NO PAPERBACK EDITION AND NO BOOK CLUB EDITION AND NO UK EDITION. MOST OF THE ENTIRE PRINT RUN WAS SOLD TO LIBRARIES (EVEN EX-LIBRARY COPIES CAN SELL FOR $200+). Book appears unread with no creased page corners, no foxing/age darkening to outer page edges which are still white (hint of dust soiling only), no foxing to pages or endpapers, nice tight spine, no hinge splits, no former owner's markings or other writing inside, no wear to board edges, corners, or spine tips, no bumped board corners, faint evidence of removed label on ffe otherwise endpapers are clean and free from tape residue markings or erasures, no sunlight fading to outer board edges (common defect with this book). Dust Jacket has no tears, chipping or creasing (tiny crease to bottom left corner to rear flap), no wear to spine tips (minor bumping only), no wear to front flap crease, no spine sun fading (common defect with this DJ), no spine age darkening, no edge wear, no dust soiling to white rear panel, no soiling or staining, white rear panel is clean with no dust soiling, hint of age yellowing along top white edge, no color rubbing to front panel. Overall a VG+/FINE- book in FINE-/N-FINE condition dust jacket (not price clipped) of a rare Dean Koontz first printing hardcover book. Therefore, in most cases, the first time that the Post Office will show anything when you check the delivery confirmation number is when the package hits your local post office/sorting center (basically the day before its delivered to you). Occasionally (about 25% of the time) a package will get scanned at the Federal Way, WA transfer station, but in the vast majority of the cases the delivery confirmation won't show anything until basically the day before you get the package.
