Description: The 120-page program is in good condition with wear, especially around the staple area. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program. The 1973 National 500 was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 7th. The 41 car field was led to green by David Pearson in front of 64,000 fans. The top 3 finishers had the motors torn down immediately following the race. It took NASCAR over six hours to declare that the inspection procedure was inadequate and the results would stand.
