Description: This rare / unique pennant was issued to English match official Harold Hackney at the Como v Newcastle United Anglo Italian Cup match played in Italy on 4th April 1973 Size is 38cms x 26 cms thick plastic / vinyl with gold braid to edges and a thick gold hanger I am selling a number of items on behalf of the family of MR HAROLD HACKNEY ex Football League referee from BARNSLEY. Harold began his career in 1950 and was on the Football League list of referees and linesmen from 1958 to 1977 and officiated across the country at all levels from local non league matches to Wembley and the top clubs in the country, as well as taking part in a number of matches in Europe.
