Bucket seats are standard on both models, with instruments and controls being arranged in a n aircraft-type cockpit. Any one of six American Motors engines -ranging in size from the standard 232 CID six to optional 401 CID V-8 - may be fitted to the AM sporty car. A new smoother shifiting, quieter "Torque-Command" automatic transmission is available with all sixes or V-8's.
