Description: Up for sale is a pinback button celebrating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 1971 National Championship. These buttons were supposed to be put on sale at the beginning of the 1972 season by the Nebraska Marching Band as a fund raiser. I don't know the details of why the fundraiser was cancelled but they were left with a bunch of these buttons that were never sold. This button is uncirculated. I have quite a few of these and they are cleaner than they look. Button measures 3 1/2" wide. Please see photos of item up for sale. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
