Description: 1971/72 Mustang Hood Latch - Original - Date Code - Nov 23, 1970. This hood latch came off a 1971 Mustang and is in really nice shape. It has been beadblasted to bare metal, primed in epoxy primer, and painted back to a natural finish. The handle rivet is not as tight as it was when it was new 50+ years ago, but it still operates as intended and looks good. This is for a 71/72 Mustang as 73s have a longer handle due to the different grille. If you are looking for an original hood latch for your restoration project, then this is for you!!!
