Description: This lot consists of a Montreal Canadiens' Guy Lafleur from a Canadiens unissued publicity/insert set which has two years of David Bier photos circa 1971 to 1973. It would probably be fair to call it a rookie for Guy Lafleur. This is from a 22 card set with 2 or 3 players doubled up (but different photos). Card is mint with sharps corners and measures standard 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" size and is blank on the back. These were apparently considered for an unissued O-Pee-Chee subset. There has been speculation that they may have been considered as the Stanley Cup winners for 71-72 and rejected in favor of the Team Canada inserts. FREE SHIPPING to Canada and the USA.
