Description: This is a set of high performance 1971 Pontiac #96 cylinder heads. These have large 2.11 1.77 valves and screw in studs from the factory. These were completely professionally rebuilt with new springs, seals etc. Complete rebuild was over $750 a few years back and they were bolted to an engine but never ran. They are complete with valves, screw in studs, guide plates,springs etc. Heads have matching D281 date codes April 28 1971. I had a set of these on a 455 a few years back and that engine screamed. Best Pontiac heads I've ever used. These are the last of the high performance D port heads. Great to use on a 455 to get about 9.1 compression. Good pump gas heads. They have a desirable 94 cc chamber volume. Used on 1971 Pontiac Firebird Forumla 400 and GTO Grand Prix models over 300hp factory rated. This set is in excellent fully rebuilt and ready to run condition. These were very clean castings prior to rebuild. They were magnafluxed checked out good crack free. They were also hot tanked cleaned for a like new appearance.
