Vitali Orfeo is an Italian contemporary artist born in 1939 in Perugia, Italy. Most of his life has been oriented toward artistic endeavors. He has degrees from universities in both Italy and Argentina. He has had personal exhibitions starting in 1961 and has won a number of medals and prizes from 1967 on. He is a multi-faceted artist and says, "painting, lithography, and other artistic expressions need a deep cultural formation. Each new means of expression is for the artist a new source on inspiration." With his openness towards many forms of expression, Orfeo has become a highly-praised painter, sculptor, creator of ceramics, and graphic artist. Orfeo's works are available from many galleries and auction houses around the world including Christie's, RoGallery, J Levine, Pamono, 1stDibs, and others. They tend to sell for $300 to $600 or more.
