Description: Jean Hardy Patterns No. 700 for a child's English riding pants. This pattern is designed to give a snug but comfortable pair of riding breeches. This is accomplished by using a double knit polyester fabric that stretches. The knee patches are cut from a synthetic suede that provides the grip of real leather but machine washes and dries without losing its softness. The pants feature a set-on waistband with a front zipper opening and a front welt pocket that is handy for keys or change. The leg is fitted with the new coachman seam and convenient zipper openings are located in the lower portion. Child Size 6 8 10 12 14 Waist 22 23.5 24.5 25.5 26.5 Hip 26 28 30 32 34 Pattern and instructions are printed on one large sheet of heavy paper, which is uncut. The adhesive of the envelope flap stuck to the paper sheet and the flap had to be cut off to remove the sheet from the envelope. The piece of flap that is stuck to the pattern does not interfere with the pattern at all. Please see photo. The envelope has shelf wear, some age related discoloration, a small spot on the bottom front, a small spot of residue where a sticker was removed, and worn edges. Pattern copyright is 1975.
