Description: * Vintage 1970 Springbok "LEVITATION" (A Mini Puzzle in a Mini Box) featuring art by David Welty, 7"x7" square miniature jigsaw puzzle, PZL 7023. Made in the USA. * Challenge your eyesight with this shimmering Op Art by Ohio-born graphic artist David A. Welty. This is not an easy puzzle, but quite beautiful when completed:) * Springbok's puzzles are famous for their unique die-cuts, sturdy pieces and clear, richly colored graphics. Within a puzzle, no two pieces are the same! * This mini art puzzle comes in its original hinged square box, with a short biography of the artist on the back. Box measures about 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 1-1/2". The completed puzzle is 7" by 7" square. * CONDITION: This is an authentic, pre-owned vintage item that is over 54 years old. It is 100% original and COMPLETE (no missing pieces) and is in overall NEAR-MINT (pieces) to EXCELLENT (box) vintage condition. * The pieces are LIKE NEW--richly colored, thick and glossy--showing virtually no wear. There are NO bent, broken, torn, chewed, or replacement pieces. * The back of the puzzle is WHITE, with age-appropriate toning. Pieces fit together perfectly (a bit on the loose side for a Springbok) and the finished puzzle lays flat and smooth. * Box is sturdy and in EXCELLENT vintage condition. There is NO tape. There is NO writing. Box top has light scuffing and age-typical dings to the edges and corners. There is ONE partially split corner (right rear) as shown in a closeup photo. Box HAS its paper-tape "hinge" joining the lid to the bottom. Box bottom is very good, with some shelf wear and light scuffing. Inside of box is clean.
