A great find from a local Massachusetts estate! Acceptable condition; exterior has issues, but the text block is complete and in nice condition overall. Exterior shows moderate wear as pictured; cover is completely detached from the binding. Crude duck tape repair done to the spine. Front and rear show moderate wrinkling and soiling, as well as some light but visible damp staining. Also shows some loss around the extremities, particularly to the corners. Rough condition overall, but remains serviceable. Internally this volume is in good shape overall. Again, the cover is completely detached from the binding, but the binding itself is solid. Former owner’s bookplate present on half-title page; otherwise clean with no signatures or inscriptions. The text block itself is in good shape as well. Pages show just light toning from age. There is light soiling and minor foxing persistent throughout, as well as some very light damp staining visible in the margins, and some minor corner creasing. Otherwise this volume is free from major rips and tears, as well as writing or other markings. Illustrated throughout with photographic plates. Exceptional photography.
