Description: there is so much to tell a potential buyer. i purchased this camper to restore for myself and had plans of taking this across America once again.. its been around and have the stickers to prove its been all over the us and was even present at the moon landing launch. how cool is that! when i got it it was hardly worth saving to some but i own a camper parts/repair and rental business so what was one more missive project in my life. the body was lifted off the frame and the frame was modified and sandblasted and painted. I built a whole new floor with pressure treated lumber insolated sealed with under pinning corrugated plastic cardboard. painted etc, I built this to last another 100 years. the walls were mostly replaced with new wood, its been rewired added outlets hot water heater new everything you will find in a new camper down to the carbon monoxide detector. its basically a brand new camper. I spray foamed the whole thing with a 900.00 spray foam kit from home depot. repaneled the walls etc. built the whole interior as close to the original with some modifications to add new comforts. some people put a fresh coat of paint on a old camper as call it restored that's not this camper!! I have a background in hotrod restoration as well so I did this camper right. I didn't build it to ever sell and built it for me to keep forever so no expense was cut. the roof/walls was strengthened to support the roof top 13500 btu ac unit. it has a brand new min fridge. 2 burner stove. oh it also has out door gas hook ups like you see on newer campers. updated fuse box. 6 gallon hot water heater. new fresh water tank and pump all new pex tubing. the sink is original but new faucet. 2 burner stove and new cabinet. I have probably 2 gigs of build pics over the 4 years it took me to build this. on old phones and different computers I'm happy to share all those with a legit real buyer. it also is wired for a stereo and has two speakers in the ceiling. one high end ceiling vent with cover. the roof was sanded down to the metal and coated with new epdm roof coating. the walls were stripped and sanded epoxy primer and painted white and teal.. teal is in fact the original color and I matched it as close as possible to the original color I've got the paint cans/code should anyone need to touch it up in the future. the frame was sandblasted and painted i added a gray water tank old campers just dumped the sink water on the ground and some places will not let you do that.. (I have not hooked the sink up to the tank yet that still needs done and i can tell/show new buyer or even possibly help /do it for them. ) I purchased 2 brand new propane tanks when I started the project they are still full. I used stainless lines on them also like I said no expense spared. all the wiring is new.. I forgot what wires went to the blue lights i planned on adding and the white ceiling lights so the new buyer might need to figure out the correct switches and wires on the roof lights.... the seating area was all rebuilt and the cushions are from a 2000ish camper I was going to have them re upholstered to look like a 50's diner style with piping, just didn't get that far. it has a chemical toilet that fits under the cabinet where the mini fridge with freezer is. also a fire extinguisher storage. the cabinet above the sink is new home depot and has some matching teal dishes etc, the tail lights I decided to go with ford thunderbird tail lights from the 60's it has a fold down storage rack also and tube style bumper for storage also.. access door on the outside to get under the bed.. you can also lift it up form the inside also. I have an out door shower hook ups you can add if you like.. I just wasn't sure where id put them if i did so i never cut the hole to add them, i just use the shower houses when i go camping. oh the wheel bearings are all new and a extra set is inside the cabinet. tires were also new i couldn't justify the white walls like i wanted but its got newer tires prob 500 miles on them. the front screen I had plans on getting some cool graphics done but the new owner can do that. I think I've mentioned about everything i can think of but id be happy to answer any questions anyone has.. my business ADVENTURE RENTALS Lincoln ne is listed on google a quick search will give you my info. only really selling because now im running a camper rental business I don't have the time to use it... and it just sits so I will build another one someday when i retire or something.. but you will not find one out there that has been truly fully restored.. and something about this little camper just feels so good the second you step inside it.. its tiny but comforting something special about it its got to be experienced. and let me tell you you will be the talk of every park you go too.....
