Description: 1967 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS ”The Big Play” Rare Sportsfilms, Inc. is the rights owner of this DVD The San Diego Chargers got off to a fast 8-1-1 start in 1967, but lost their last four games to finish in third place. With QB John Hadl throwing to Lance Alworth, Gary Garrison and Willie Frazier, the offense was outstanding, and the club had a great offensive line to clear the way for running backs Dick Post and Brad Hubbert, a pair of fine rookies. However, coach Sid Gilman’s biggest headache was the defense, which disintegrated down the stretch and cost the club a top finish. In this rare 25-minute film (it’s the only copy known to exist) now on DVD, you’ll see great AFL action from every Charger home game at brand new San Diego Stadium, plus highlights from road games at War Memorial Stadium, old Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, Mile High Stadium and Fenway Park, Boston!
