1967 - 1260 Sovereign Guitar Plays Wonderful Chipboard Case Original

Description: This 1967, Harmony, Sovereign guitar is a rare spot on original, I mean original right out of the factory and it has survived all this time. I had some recent work done and for good reason he installed two wooden pillars as support by the sound hole and cleat-ted two small cracks fore of the sound hole, and tightened up all loose Braces in the body. So now its a solid nice sounding Sovereign and stage ready for play. This is an older guitar, not sure of age because the modal number front of the sound hole on the Fret Board Front, is barely readable. I can make out two front numbers barely 77, then it fades off, the end is readable but it appears to be 88. But the body and neck matches and its a guitar that seem to make it regardless who owned it. It found a way to Survive all through it's life. This would be a great guitar for any student enthusiast. Because it's all complete and sounds really nice, so you have an investment, at the same time something cool to learn on. It comes with a nice chip -board case that is most likely original, and perfect for keeping the instrument safe handling and during transportation. As said, the Guitar plays wonderful and appears a little high of action as you play up the neck, but it's all playable. That said, this is precisely how these Sovereigns played right out of the factory. All notes are clear and the neck tunes well on its strings. Even on the 12th fret when after its properly tuned which is a testament to the quality craftsmanship of these older Sovereign guitars! This is a virgin unmolested, right off the assembly line.You could get a neck set, but I wouldn't because the low action at the nut is great and right up to the seventh and ninth Fret.
