Description: This is a Vietnam War-era lot of REDIFON radio communicator PIECES AND PARTS. No Radio is included. The OD green canvas bag is stenciled inside 1966 MURPHY w/a Broad Arrow. Inside the case is a Redifon 24V Type 6553/A CHARGER. From the tag I believe it was used to recharge the batteries in a portable REDIFON radio set from a 24 volt vehicle power source. Also included are 4 wood reels that hold wire. 2 of them are braided copper Antenna wire to create a Dipole antenna. 1 is fine string with a Lead Weight to allow placing the antenna high in a tree. The other reel holds 2-conductor Hook-up wire. Also, an Adaptor that looks like it plugs into the vehicle for power. If you have the Radio, you need these accessories.
