This is an original press photo. Jackie Coogan wistfully remembers back through his checkered career, and years of ups and downs, as he studies himself as "The Kid." That epic of mirth and tears launched him, in 1921 at age six, as the screen's first juvenile star. Coogan recalls, and recaps, 35 silent films, 100 talkies, 850 TV appearances. He's coning to Broadway to rehearse for an upcoming play, "Fatty," in which he will star as the unfortunate movie comic idol Roscoe Arbuckle, who suffered tragically from the negative publicity following a Hollywood death, and faded into obscurity. The play is scheduled to open shortly after Christmas.Photo measures 9 x 7inches. Photo is dated 8-23-1966.
