Description: Handsome fold-out 1965 Texaco road map of Wyoming, printed more than 55 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 26½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There's an inset plan of Yellowstone National Park. On the reverse side there are maps of Cheyenne, Sheridan, Casper, Laramie, Grand Teton National Park, the Black Hills region, and the United States. The map was distributed by Texaco in 1965 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 7-MM. Little "T" symbols on the map locate Texaco service stations on major highways. There's a Texaco Touring Atlas ad on the back cover and a beautiful scenic view on the front. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing.
