Clean California title in actual owners name currently registered and insured. Includes CA black plates. This Mustang was restored approximately two years ago and was used as a daily driver thereafter. Body/Undercarriage:Body is straight, completely rust free with nice lines and great panel alignment. Painted at time of restoration two stage base/clear Brilliant Blue metallic with silver metallic Lemans stripes, paint looks great. Wheels are late model Mustang GT 17x8 Funnel spoke silver alloys with brand new Premiorri Solazo S Plus 225/45/17 tires. All of the chrome and brightwork is in very nice condition. Doors open and close nicely and the outer door locks work. Exterior lighting, headlights (high/low beam), turn signals, brake lights function properly. The undercarriage is clean no rust with all original sheet metal underneath. Drivetrain:The engine bay is clean with the correct 289 four-barrel engine. It runs well with no apparent issues and has decent power (mileage on engine is unknown). The engine was given a top end rebuild at the time of restoration including a cylinder head valve job, Edelbrock 600CFM 4-barrel carburetor, Cardone factory replacement distributor, Carter fuel pump, GMB aluminum water pump, Edelbrock dress up kit. A recent tune up, oil change and coolant flush were completed. This Mustang retains the 1964.5 OE Ford factory generator and power steering assembly. The exhaust sounds great with brand new 2-1/4" aluminized piping and dual 40 Series Flowmaster mufflers dumped at the rear axle. Transmission is the original C4 Cruise-O-Matic three speed automatic, recent fluid flush Type-F with new filter and seal. Shifts fine with no issues. Interior:The interior was completely redone at the time of restoration with a beautiful two-tone blue and white deluxe kit including dash, seat upholstery, door panels, arm rests, cranks, carpet, headliner, rear shelf and Pony floor mats. The original center console, gauge cluster, AM radio and steering wheel are still intact. All the gauges work including the dash illumination as well as the turn signals. The horn and heater are not currently functioning. Interior door locks function properly, and all the windows roll up and down. This Mustang does not have air conditioning. Brakes/Suspension/Trunk:Brakes are drum front and rear with a new master cylinder. They work well no issues with pulling or a soft pedal. Suspension is in good shape front coil springs and leaf springs in the rear. Front and rear shocks were replaced at the time of restoration. It steers and handles nicely for a 60 year old Ford. Fuel tank was also replaced at the time of restoration. Trunk includes a factory style trunk mat and Ford styled steel wheel spare. Trunk was treated with a durable Zolatone rust inhibitor coating at time of restoration. Please message thru eBay with additional questions, for additional images and for seller contact info.
