Owner Roland Leong is third from the right, behind his winning "HAWAIIAN" Blown Nitro Dragster . Famed Engine Builder Keith Black is behind the Trophy and Roland's Mother (Teddi") is between Miss Winternationals and Keith Black. Crew Member Wes Hanson is on the extreme right . This was a very good year for the "HAWAIIAN"-winning the 1965 NHRA WINTERNATIONALS at POMONA and the 1965 NHRA NATIONALS at INDY . 1965 was the only year that Don Prudhomme drove this car;in 1966 he went out on his own . Don Prudhomme and Roland remained Life Long Friends . This photo is made from my Original Negative on 4" x 6" Premium Photo Paper. Nice nostalgic look into 1960s Drag Racing History.
