A rare set of two volumes of dictionaries on the Odia language, formerly known as Oriya. It is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the official language in Odisha, and is also spoken in parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. This specific set of books comes from the collection of Johannes Rahder (1898-1988) a Dutch Orientalist and Japanese professor.
