The PGE provided passenger and freight services in British Columbia from North Vancouver to northern points Fort St. John and Dawson Creek, operating over 1,400 miles of mainline track. The name was later changed to British Columbia Railway in 1972, and it subsequently was sold to the Canadian National. The PGE in 1961 operated a daily passenger run. The timetable lists this train, by run number, with arrival/departure times for stations served. There are also schedules for connecting bus services. This timetable contains a route map and passenger information on tickets and baggage. There are also photos from along the route. The publication, over 50 years old, measures appx 9x4 inches unopened and opens to appx 16x9 inches; it is printed on a medium-weight, high-quality grained paper stock.
