Description: This beautiful cocktail dress belonged to my mother. She would wear it when going to formal events with my father in the mid-1960s. It has some damage so please read. Also please note that this hot pink color is very hard to capture on camera and your screen may display different colors. This dress may not exactly match the color on your screen. It is a shift dress, and does not have a fitted waist, so it's a little bit forgiving on size. There is no size on the label, but I would guess it would be a modern-day medium to large. Please see the pictures with the measuring tape so you can see whether it will fit you. Sleeves are made of a sheer fabric with a slight crepe texture. The dress itself is the same sheer fabric over a reddish pink lining. Please note this dress has some damage. On the left sleeve there is some fading in the fabric at the top of the sleeve. Next to this fading on the back of the dress is a tear in the chiffon overlay of about 1 in. Please see pictures. In addition there are a few small holes on the back of the right sleeve near the top also. Next to these are a few pinholes in the back chiffon overlay on the back of the dress next to the right sleeve. Please see pictures. The dress is a hot pink, or pinkish red color. It has a union label and a metal zipper.
