Description: We are 1,000,000 Baseball Cards, the largest and oldest baseball card store in the St. Louis area. Thank You for considering to purchase cards from us. Our store has been open since 1989. We specialize in vintage cards from all four sports. You can order with confidence from us because we have processed over 10,000 mail/internet orders since our inception. We only get 3-5 returns a year so 99% of the people like what they get from us. Pictures & Images... Please read this! Non common cards made before 1980 will have an actual scan of the front and back of the card you will receive. We think our scans are some of the best you will see on ebay because we use a really expensive high speed scanner to give you great image of the card you are buying. Cards made after 1979 will mostly picture a stock photo of the card you are buying unless we say "Actual scan of the card" in the description. On the 1980 and up cards we only list them if they are in NM-MT condition so the lack of an actual scan shouldn't matter. The condition of the older cards is stated in the title of the listing. Listed below is a description of what each grade will look like, read it at your convenience. Standard Shipping: 3.25. If you order 1 or 2 cards we will either ship in 6x9 TYVEK envelope, a Size 11 Brown Kraft envelope, or a Bubble mailer. It all depends on the value and thickness of the card or cards ordered. We have not had a report of a damaged package or lost card in over 10 years! All autographs, relics and multiple card orders will ship in bubble mailers. If you are ordering multiple cards put the cards in your cart then find the request an invoice tab and select it, this way you won't be asked to pay 3.25 shipping for each card. If you can't figure how to do that order anyway and we will refund any over payment on shipping through Paypal when we process your order. Similarly if you place a bunch of orders within a 24 hour period we will ship them together and refund any over payment on shipping. Here is the link to our Beckett Marketplace store. Grading Company: Raw Grade SetType: Main Item Condition:Poor 2014 Beckett Collectibles, LLC. All Rights ReservedPowered by: Here is how we grade cards. All cards are graded very conservatively.Near Mint-Mint = NM-MT: Basically a card made from 1980-date that looks like it went straight from a pack into a protective sleeve or case, it won't have any corner or centering imperfections. We don't grade any card from the 70's or before NM-MT no matter how nice it looks. NM = Near Mint: A card from any era that appears NM-MT at first glance but upon closer scrutiny will have a very minor imperfection on it. For example one of the four corners might have a slight touch of wear on it. Or the card could be centered 48/52 instead of 50/50. EX-MT or XM = Excellent-Mint: This card is in above average condition. In the old days the card condition wise was considered to be midway between Excellent and Near Mint condition. The card would have minor corner wear but not necessarily on all 4 corners and it could have very minor surface wear if you tilt it a certain way. The card looks great to the eye. A vintage Excellent-Mint card will not have any creases and probably looks better than 80% of the cards out there. EX = Excellent: These cards will have slightly more wear than an Excellent-Mint card. To put it in perspective if these cards are from the 1960s or before, they will typically look better than 60% of the cards in circulation from that era. A EX condition card will not have any creases but may be slightly off center. VG-EX = Very Good-Excellent: This card has more than normal wear but with us is priced 65-70% below the book price. A VG-EX card may have a slight crease but not always and probably will be off center to some degree. VG = Very Good: These cards have excess wear and probably will have creases or major centering issues but are usually priced 75-80% below NM cards. If your new to card collecting the terminology is confusing. If you have been collecting awhile you know that a card that is graded good or very good is really not in that good of condition and should be priced accordingly. G = Good: A filler for your collection. A very worn card. A Rough card. The card will have creases and abnormal wear. Side note on grading: Grading companies grade cards to a much stricter standard than individual dealers so weather you are ordering from us or any other dealer if you order a NM 1950's or 60's card don't expect the card to receive an 8 or a 9 from the grading company. If grading is important to you we are in the process of scanning all of our vintage star, minor star, short prints, and high number cards so you can get an idea of what type of grade you might receive by studying the scan and comparing it to actual graded cards.
