Dr. Albert Schweitzer was a happy man Saturday as he received $400,000 worth of medicine presented him by Bobby Hill, 13, left, at Lambarene, French Equatorial Africa. Bobby is the son of Sgt. Henry Hill of Waycross, Georgia. The sergeant is stationed in Naples with Allied Air Forces, Southern Europe. Last month boy wrote his dad's commanding officer with a request that he would like to send a package of medicine to Schweitzer if he could obtain help in delivering it. Letter let to campaign in Italy which raised the money. The boy was flown from Naples to Libreville, 100 miles from Schweitzer's hospital. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 7-21-1959.
