Near perfect centering Nice corners Clean back Vintage ‘58 Aguirre pitched 16 years in the the majors, ten with the Tigers after signing with Cleveland in ‘52. After three years with Cleveland, Aguirre was sent to Detroit where he resumed his relief role. From 55 to 61, Aguirre was essentially a reliever. In ‘62, the Tigers made him a starter, and he had best year in Pro ball with a 16 and 8 won lost record, and taking the ERA title with a 2.21 mark. He would make two trips to the All Star game while with Detroit. He would finish with a 75 and 72 won lost record lifetime
