Description: 1957 rookie card of the submarine reliever Ted Abernathy. Abernathy pitched 14 seasons and got 149 saves with 7 different teams. He led the NL in saves in 1965 and 1967. This card is in pretty good shape with no stains or paper tears. There is a line that goes from under Ted's left eye and out to the right border but it looks like a printing error of some sort. The corners are mostly good but the upper right has a slight fold while the lower left has an even smaller one. The back is undamaged and looks new. I am including Ted's last card #22 from the 1973 series so you get his first card and his last one at no extra charge. Another free bonus is a 1959 card that has a stain on the left side and paper damage on the right border and the lower border of the back. All the Abernathy you could want and then some!
