The famous Dutch Siamese twins, Tjitske (left) and Folkje De Vries admire their newborn baby sister, Jitske, at their home in Bergum in Friesland Province. The twins, who celebrated their third birthday on November 8th, were successfully separated in a 1954 operation performed by the noted Dutch surgeon, Dr. H.L. Straat.
