Theweather was ideal and all attending motor-cyclists are to be congratulated for theircooperation in making this the finest andbiggest of all the previous Southwesternrallies.The biggest parade ever to leave Cin-cinnati in the three year history of therally had nearly 300 motorcycles withPolice escort all the way to the rallygrounds in near-by Hamilton. Other groupsin parades left from Hamilton, Daytonand Greenville. This was quite a spectacleto see as they reached the grounds withflags flying and police sirens on—and thisthe riders liked as there was no stoppinguntil they reached the spot for the day’sactivities of fun for young and old. Bynoon the site was a bee-hive of activity asfans and more riders who didn’t get upin time to make the early parades arrivedto jam the grounds and have a good time.Riders from eight states attended theday’s festivities with more than 120 en-tries taking part in the field events. Statesrepresented were: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana,Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, andNew York.Sponsors of this annual rally are dealersJim Peck, Hamilton, Ohio, Morris Flatter,Greenville, Ohio, Bob Heil, Dayton, Ohio,and Ray Konkler of Cincinnati.
