Description: Vintage 1955 ticket for the game between the #12 Arkansas Razorbacks and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets played on 1/1/1955 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Tech defeated the Razorbacks 14-6 in front of a crowd of 75,500. Tech was led by the legendary Bobby Dodd in his 10th season at the helm. The Yellow Jackets finished with a 8-3 record. Arkansas would finish the 1954 season 8-3. With only 25 players on the team they would earn the nickname the "25 Little Pigs" but somehow go on to win the Southwest Conference championship. They wer coached by Bowden Wyatt in his 2nd season. This ticket is in VG condition with a minor vertical crease through the gate number (red 4). It is a thick sturdy cardboard stock.
