This anthology opens with 'The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock' which is regarded as a masterpiece of the Modernist movement. It was this poem that gave Eliot widespread attention. Other poems to this collection include 'Portrait of a Lady', 'Ash Wednesday', 'Whispers of Immortality' and 'Rhapsody on a Winy Night'.
